Carraro Agritalia – Plant & R&D Center

Carraro Agritalia represents for the Group an ideal bridge between the past and the future. Here, in fact, specialized tractors are conceived, designed and built for some of the leading brands in the sector, as well as for the historic Carraro brand "Tre Cavallini".

The Rovigo plant became part of Carraro in 1977, when the company decided to accelerate on the path of diversification by focusing on the new core business of transmission systems. The production of seeders, milling machines and tractors was therefore moved to Rovigo from Campodarsego.

Simultaneously with this change, the Group began to turn to numerous third-party customers, adding to its own brand the one of various international players. The former competitors thus became customers.

The reputation of Carraro Agritalia has grown over the years and it is recognized today as a point of reference in the production of tractors for specialized crops such as vineyards and orchards.
