Carraro Argentina – Plant
The Haedo plant, near Buenos Aires, became part of the Group in 1998, in the midst of its internationalization phase. Initially, only transmissions for agricultural tractors were produced there. This very important production site allowed Carraro to enter a market, the South American one, with interesting opportunities.
Over time, Carraro Argentina has evolved and diversified its offer by also producing gears and axles, mainly intended for the local market.
As a result of the evolution of the markets, the Haedo plant changed its production layout adapting to the new dimension of demand and focused in particular on axles and transmissions for agricultural machines as well as on the distribution and marketing of a wide range of locally produced spare parts.
Within Carraro Argentina today the transformation processes range from turning to the production of gears, from mechanical machining to heat treatments, to the assembly of axles and transmissions.
