SIAP Plant

Part of Carraro Group since 1988, SIAP today represents a global center of excellence for quality components and high-complexity gears. Thanks to its in-depth technological expertise, SIAP is able to offer a wide range of products for the most diverse application areas: from drivelines for construction and agricultural applications to wind turbines, railway and automotive applications and material handling. 

More in detail, SIAP produces shaved or ground cylindrical gears, straight bevel gears, lapped or ground spiral bevel gears, shaped or broached epicycloidal ring gears, hobbed or rolled drive shafts with shaved or ground finishing. The high quality of gears manufactured in Maniago is guaranteed by its consolidated know-how and highly verticalised production processes.

In recent years, SIAP has extended its area of competence from the traditional production of gears also to the production of high-volume gears for the truck sector (Monterale Valcellina, PN plant) as well as to assembly, with a specific focus on the automotive sector, producing the axles for the new INEOS Grenadier off-road vehicle (new Automotive plant, in Maniago).
