Born in 1959, Fabio Buttignon is Professor of Corporate Finance at the Department of Economics and Business Sciences of the University of Padua. Over the years he has held the role of associate professor of Business Economics at the Ca' Foscari University.
After graduating in Business Administration from the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, he studied at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). He is registered in the professional order of chartered accountants and statutory auditors. He has published numerous articles and monographs on topics such as corporate strategy and finance, corporate restructuring and raising of capital.
Fabio Buttignon participates in the corporate governance of Carraro with the office of non-executive director and statutory auditor. He is the main partner and founder of Buttignon Zotti Milan & Co., an advisory firm specialising in appraisals and assessments of companies and finance operations for development and capital raising.
