Tomaso Carraro on a mission trip for Care & Share in India

From the laying of the foundation stone of a new school to the meeting with the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh

Tomaso Carraro, Chairman of Care & Share - Onlus, whose primary aim is to help abandoned and poor children in the south of India, has visited in the past few days several deprived areas of the Indian subcontinent, laying the foundation stone of a new school in the tribal village of Dekapuram together with the Consul General of Italy Stefania Costanza and Balaji Gopalan, advisor for C&S Foundation.

During the numerous meetings with the local population, Tomaso participated to the distribution of several "humanitarian kits" for 300 HIV-positive children in Vijayawada and he also had the opportunity to meet Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, which is a state located on the southeastern coast of India.

This mission trip represents an important occasion to exchange ideas and to raise awareness, as a part of a wider program that deserves the utmost attention.
