Carraro and Care&Share together to celebrate 31 years in India.

So many projects were started and now the journey continues thanks to the Italian tour of the Global Ambassador Kabir Bedi.

It is now 31 years since the NGO Care&Share Italia has taken its first steps to support the Indian communities that were economically unable to send their children to school through a network of volunteers.

Over time, this organization - whose Vice President is Tomaso Carraro - has grown, involving an increasing number of supporters, reaching truly important milestones: there are 22,500 children who have started school since 1991, and today there are 3,470 who are part of Care&Share's program of whom 1,480 by the means of distance support; last but not least, there are 2,254 "untouchable" children assisted, not to mention the various projects aimed at women and orphans, who can now be educated and trained for work.

This and much more was discussed during the event that took place in mid-May in the beautiful setting of Ca' Pesaro and was only the first in a long series of events aiming supporting the various initiatives put in place by Care&Share.

But the NGO's initiatives certainly do not stop here, and precisely this very evening - in Milan - the Italian tour of solidarity will kick off, with Kabir Bedi, as Global Ambassador of Care & Share Italia, being present in six different locations between Lombardy and Veneto to raise funds aimed at maintaining a family home in southern India.

This and other projects represent the vocation of Care&Share Italia, which has counted on more than 13,000 supporters in its history, including the Carraro Group.
