Bauma 2019: a new successful edition for Carraro
Last Sunday the 2019 edition of Bauma, the most important event in the world for the construction machinery sector, came to an end.
It was a successful and very participated event for us. On this occasion, Carraro introduced various new products for this application area. The feedback registered for our renewed range of transmissions dedicated to the construction equipment sector was excellent and very positive. Among the others, in particular, the new TCH90 side-drive for telescopic trucks with power up to 150 horses as well as the TB172 / 2C Shift-on-Motion hydrostatic compact drive attracted considerable interest.
But above all in this edition of Bauma our Group had the opportunity to present for the first time important innovations in e-Mobility, namely in our electrified products able to better respond to the new needs of tomorrow's construction sites, thanks to a consolidated competence of over 25 years in the development and supply of transmission systems for material handling applications with electric traction. In this context, the interest shown for both the eTB172 compact transmission, evolution of the hydrostatic version, and the more innovative e48.16M axle designed to integrate internally the central body of the electric motor and the inverter, was truly remarkable.
The success and the excellent feedback collected are the result of a good team work that has seen several company areas operating side by side for months, demonstrating in everyday life what "Working together", "Stimulating innovation" and "Creating Value" means.
