Tractor of the Year 2018: Carraro protagonist among global players!
The best tractors of the year were awarded at Agritechnica 2017
Hannover, November 21, 2017 – New important awards for Carraro Group, leader in transmission systems for off-highway and specialised tractors, which, on the occasion of the event Tractor of the Year 2018 – held during the Agritechnica exhibition in Hannover – saw its brand next to the one of many global players of this prestigious expo.
The McCORMICK X6.4 VT-DRIVE tractor, equipped with a Carraro 20.19SI electronically controlled independent suspension axle, won in the Best Utility category, and among the finalists of the same category was also the JOHN DEERE 5125 R tractor, equipped with a Carraro 20.22SI electronically controlled independent suspension axle.
The above confirms the forcefulness of such an advanced front suspension system, which allows vehicles to highly improve their stability and security on the field as well as to increase productivity, giving tractors the possibility to reach 50 km/h speed during road transfers.
In the Best of Specialized category, a double satisfaction for Carraro Group, which sees among finalists also the MASSEY FERGUSON 3710 S and CLAAS NEXOS 240 VE tractors, both equipped with 20.16 front axles combined with T100 transmissions and most of all entirely produced at Carraro Agritalia plant, in Rovigo.
An excellent result, which confirms the value of Carraro solutions from the single component to the complete tractor.
