SIAP opens its doors to industry: factory cooling as a concrete lever for well-being and safety

Maniago, July 23, - Today Confindustria Alto Adriatico organized a technical visit dedicated to the management of "hot risk", an increasingly central issue for manufacturing companies, at SIAP, the Carraro Group's center of excellence for quality components and highly complex gears based in Maniago. The initiative involved HSE professionals, RSPP, technical services managers and company executives in a discussion on organizational and technological solutions to deal with heat waves in the workplace.

The central element of the day was a visit to SIAP's production plants and the industrial cooling system installed in the plant made by trigeneration (energy production, heating and cooling), capable of air-conditioning about 25,000 square meters of production area. A significant choice that shows how people's well-being can become a strategic investment and not just a regulatory requirement. In a manufacturing context where the cooling of production environments is by no means taken for granted, SIAP represents a virtuous example of attention to health, safety and quality of working conditions.

During the meeting, the technical aspects of the plant, the benefits obtained and the contribution of the energy efficiency guaranteed by the trigeneration system to support cooling were explored.
