Carraro obtains CIR and CII certifications from the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space

Campodarsego (Padua), January 26, 2026 – The Carraro Group has obtained the CIR – Crédit d'Impôt Recherche certification and the CII – Crédit d'Impôt Innovation certification, both issued by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space.

These accreditations recognize Carraro as  an executive body of R&D and innovation for the compte d'entreprises, confirming its ability to carry out research, development and innovation activities for third parties for clients operating in France.

• The CIR – Crédit d'Impôt Recherche certification allows French companies – and international groups with tax entities in France – to include the expenses for R&D projects entrusted to Carraro in their Crédit d'Impôt Recherche application, with the following advantages:

Beneficiaries: French companies and groups with tax entities in France

Subject: Expenditure on research and development activities entrusted to Carraro

Benefits: recovery of up to 30% of eligible costs related to R\&D, according to current legislation

• The CII – Crédit d'Impôt Innovation certification is an extension of the CIR focused on the creation phase of new products:

Beneficiaries: SMEs only (according to the EU definition)

Object of the benefit: expenses for the design of prototypes or pilot installations of new products, not yet on the market and with higher performance than existing solutions

Subsidies: 20% of eligible expenses, with a ceiling of 400,000 euros per year
